Mathew Dumba: Career and Professional LifeEven the Red Deer Rebels of the Western Hockey League (WHL) Chosen Dumba Using their first round Choice, fourth overall, at the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft. He left his WHL debut in 2009–10, emerging in six regular season matches & two playoff games to the Rebels. He had been appointed the ruler of the U18 national group & led Canada to a gold medal success. He had been the youngest participant invited to the selection camp to the 2012 World Junior Hockey Championship. His play at the WHL led to Dumba being ranked among the very best prospects at the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
