Referring to profession journey of William Lee Self, he’s busy in the music as 1978. He then formed a rock group’Tanzplagen’ with Michael Stipe, David Pierce, and Neil McArthur. Soon the group dissolved after recording one for David Healy’s Dasht Hopes tag. He then formed another group’Silent Rite’ and moved to Germany. He’s recorded one with the tag 46 Records at Cologne and toured through the U.K. His group once more dissolved and he started to function as a hired gun. William Lee Self has worked with many artists like Kastrierte Philosophen, Blaine L. Reininger, and Leon Kievan. Self once more formed a group’Montanablue’ and it was signed instantly to a control deal by Harold Goldbach. The group was made with Leon Kievan and Jiri Douda. The group broke up in 1992. William Lee Self has also written for the German theatre. William Lee self recorded The Hamburg Sessions with Blaine L. Reininger within his house, which premiered in 2012. In 2011, he made a new group to market the Blaine L. Reininger cooperation The Hamburg Sessions. They also have written tracks for its very first EP “Self”, which premiered on Still/Off Records at 2011. In 2013, the group has released their record Wichita.
