Viola Davis was Created on 11 August 1965, in Saint Matthews, South Carolina, USA. She’s the daughter of African American parents Mary Alice Davis and Dan Davis. She’s the youngest of six sisters. Her father was employed as a horse trainer and her mom was a mill worker and homemaker. Her mom had been an activist during the Civil Rights Movement. Viola belongs to ethnicity and is a American by nationality. Davis was taken to prison along together with her mother after she had been detained during a civil rights protest in age two. During her youth, her family moved into Central Falls, Rhode Island. She spent her early life in Central Falls, Rhode Island with her grandparents and sisters. Davis finished her high school education from Central Falls High School. Throughout her teenaged time, she got involved with several programs like TRIO Upward Bound and TRIO Student Support Services. From that point, she graduated in 1988.

She won two Screen Actors Guild awards for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series at 2015 and 2016 because of her character in Precisely the Same series. Davis depicted the character Amanda Waller from the superhero action movie Suicide Squad (2016). That exact same year, she reprised the role of Rose Maxson at the movie adaptation of Fences. For her character in the film, she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She’ll be appearing as Veronica at the upcoming film Widows (2018). Davis has a net worth of 12 million bucks.
