James Maslow was born in New York, U.S. and Increased in La Jolla, California. Throughout his early life, he started his acting career as a member of the San Diego Children’s Choir at age six and played Marius in Les Miserables when he was two. He had been graduated from CoSA at 2007 from the musical theatre department.

Throughout his career, he started singing lessons when he was in first grade, acting with the San Diego Children’s Choir. From there, he moved on to look at “La Boheme” together with the San Diego Opera. By his mid-teenshe knew he wanted to follow a career in musical theatre, so he procured an agent, and proceeded to graduate in the Coronado School of the Arts with a concentration on Musical Theater. In 2009, following a two-year audition procedure, he had been encouraged to join a brand new Disney group known as, Big Time Rush. He’s just appeared in TV movies like the Teen Choice Awards 2009, Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice awards 2010, 7 Keys: Large Time Rush at 2010, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2010 and others.The quartet released their first album in 2010. They’ve since released two albums. Along with his job with Big Time Rush, he’s also appeared on such shows as “iCarly” and “See Dad Run”. He started competing on “Dance with the Stars” at February 2014.
