Here’s a throwback to Pasha and I hiphoppin to a Dave Scott routine…. mannequin style. – – – – – – funny story…. this routine was nearing the end of the competition we were down to 2 duets a solo and a group dance that week. (I remember thinking how am I accomplishing all this? It’s the magic of #sytycd that really takes place in moments of intensity and it’s something I loved and still strive to get in my performances. So greatful to have done this show as it opened so many doors for but I also became much more of a dancer than I thought I could have.) BUT, While I was standing on the producers office furniture onstage, in my moms equestrian boots, and wearing my personal jeans, I was worried this dance wasn’t a long enough showcase for myself. I danced 30sec total, so I made sure every beat I hit was exact focusing my energy into the story and musicality.
