John Salley: Professional Life and Career

John started his basketball career. He retains Georgia Tech’s own fouls album and has had his jersey number 22 retired by the school. He started his professional soccer career. In 1990 and 1989, he performed two Pistons NBA championship clubs. Under the training of Chuck Daly, Salley was a part of the Pistons age that featured three successive NBA finals appearances. Salley was traded to the Miami Heat in 1992 and a couple of years after he had been left unattended by Miami at the 1995 expansion draft. After a brief stint with the Toronto Raptors staff where he received little playing time, he also negotiated a buyout of his contract. Then, Salley signed with the Chicago Bulls, in which he performed with Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Toni Kukoč, and former Pistons teammates Dennis Rodman and James Edwards. He even won the championship that was 1995-96 and also retired. Back in 1996, Salley came from retirement and proceeded to play with in Greece, where he combined the Greek Basket League group Panathinaikos and played games. He led the Lakers for their first of three consecutive NBA championships from 2000 to 2002. After the Lakers championship period, he retired in 2000. Apart from basketball, he’s been employed as a host of the prior Fox Sports Net series The Best Damn Sports Show Period for a very long time period.
