Timo started his professional hockey career as a professional participant for Rapperswil-Jona Lakers of all Elite Jr league at 2012. That exact identical year, he had been picked 12th overall from the Halifax Mooseheads at the 2013 CHL of Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) Import Draft. He had been appointed the captain of this Mooseheads for its 2015–16 QMJHL year old. He played with the group before the 2015-2016 year old.
